Meet Dr. Mathew Harris!

Hi, my name is Dr. Matthew Harris. Dentistry has been part of my life from birth; both my parents, my siblings, and my wife are all in the dental field. Lake of the Pines has that similar small-town feel I grew up in and love. I received my DMD from Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and have a passion for learning and continuing education. I also practice sedation dentistry and like caring for “high dental anxiety” patients and helping them feel more comfortable. More than anything, I love helping people. My goal is always to provide the best dental care possible and make each visit a positive experience.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was in more pain than I had ever experienced in my life. Though they were short staffed, Cat (the receptionist) squeezed me in and the rest of the team jumped in to action to have me seen quickly.
When I arrived, I was met with a smile and they promptly took me back to a chair. There was no waiting or wondering if I was going to be seen before the work day was done. When Dr Harris came to my station, he quickly jumped in to action to start pinpointing the cause of my pain. He clearly explained what he saw on my x-rays, took his time to ask what I was feeling and where, and gave me his recommendation on the next steps. I felt safe, comfortable,  cared for, acknowledged, and in the end I was able to go home and eat a full meal with no pain.
All in all, my time spent in the office left me feeling informed, valued, and I will definitely be returning for future dental check-ups.
